Mobile Home Park Bootcamp :: Student Success Story

Mr. & Mrs. Smith,

I wanted to update you as to the progress my father and I have made since attending the Mobile Home Park Bootcamp. First I must give credit to Mr. James Smith for his enthusiastic and very enjoyable speech about Real Estate with the “Motivator Movers” when he came out to Kansas City, Missouri about one year ago. It was his charismatic and politically incorrect attitude that grabbed my attention to even sign my father and myself up for the three day seminar. Once we attended the seminar, I was hooked on what you, Ryan and Jamie, did.

You see, my husband, First Sergeant Mike P., had been deployed to Kosovo and, while in Kosovo, the company he had been with for seven years lost the government contract which provided security services to a four- state area. This meant he did not have a job to come home to, and I saw this as a perfect opportunity for my husband to put his love of negotiating to work for him. He is a very driven and ambitious man, and I just felt very adamant about participating in the Mobile Home Park Bootcamp.

My father could see how serious I was, and that we had nothing to lose, so he fronted the money and off we went to Kentucky for our first experience with Mobile Homes. He and I were very impressed with the “win win” attitude by the family and soaked in as much information as we possibly could.

After we came home, my father and I proceeded to put together our own Mobile Home Park Bootcamp Seminar for my Mother and Mike because we felt it was very important for them to know as much as we did in order to make a very important decision on forming our own company, and we did just that.

What first started out as a homework assignment from the continuing education on the web about mobile homes turned into a real estate investment business. We are the proud owners of (Name Omitted), LLC and own 27 mobile homes in various mobile home parks in the Kansas City Missouri area and have just purchased our first mobile home park. Mike was able to negotiate with the Seller with a sales price of $110,000 with a down payment of $10,000 and seller financing of the $100,000! There is $9,000 worth of notes coming to us and four park owned homes. The seller’s original asking price was $140,000!

My family and I cannot thank you enough for the information you were so willing to share and how it has changed our lives! We work for ourselves and are reliant only on our own ability to put forth the effort to make a better life for our family. Since Mike has come home from Kosovo, he has been able to retire, and we never have to worry about our family being separated again. Our young children cherish every moment that they are able to share with their father. Owning our own business now allows us the freedom to raise our children together and become a closer family. Thank you again.

Sincerely,

Kelli P.

  5. Hello Ryan and Jamie, my family and I enjoyed the last weekend very very much. My 17 years old daughter is ready to sign up for your classes regarding the mobile homes with me. I am so thankful that we made it to your seminar, very much worth going and we appreciate you and your team and your dad. I don't know how we can come up with finances to go but we are in prayers and I know God will open a way. We hope to make it to June or December (in the worst case). Thank you so much for helping us and others, Regina Tielrooy; 714-343-6366 March 12,2010

  6. Hi Ryan and Jamie.

My wife and I enjoyed the financial success seminar you and your family provided last weekend. The seminar was packed with valuable information about real estate and trading that we are going to apply. We will definitely recommend it to others.

    Thank you

  7. Ryan and Jamie,

I dont even know where to begin...I will put it this way. I attended the original conference in New Orleans because I was that 97% and my father had a extra ticket and I wanted to get out of work and come down to New Orleans. Well then your father came out and started talking, when he started talking about living life as a PLAYER or a FAN, it got me thinking. Then he went on about who was gonna be there to work for me and I looked behind myself and saw NO ONE. I have three beautiful children that until now I was scared to death for not knowing how I was gonna better things for them when I couldnt better them for myself. Like you said Ryan, I can read to them ALL day and not make a difference but IF I picked up the book and read they would follow.
I was in a car accident that almost killed me and when I say almost killed me I had 5 fractures on my neck one 3cm from a breaken neck, broken cheek bone and both collar bones. My brother is a ER doctor and said after seeing my x rays there is no reason that I should be alive. With that being said I went to and completed a 90 rehab program and found who I was again. Up to that point my children had seen nothing but their mother be mentally and physically abused, stress about everything, and due to lack of self esteem or self worth numb everything with drugs.
I believe with all my heart that EVERYTHING happens for a reason and GOD presents us with EVERY oppertunity...It is up to us to do something with it!!
I knew that I wanted to help other youth and young adults feel that they have a purpose and by what I have been through help others not go the same path that I did. Im not ashamed about my past because without it I would not be the person Iam today.
God put me at that conference for a reason and I was inspired and motivated for a reason!!
I left this weekend with a feeling a since of trust for you, Jamie, your father and EVERY member of your team. I feel that yall are really out to help others and watch them grow. Well yall better get ready because I will put 110% of me into the rest of my life and I feel that with you and your families quidence I will make it and I will help as many people as I can along the way.
Thank you so very much for what you do and for taking the time out of your lives to better other people such as this little southern girl that until now wasnt sure she could make a difference for myself and my children.
and BTW I got all your little movie jokes because I was under 60!! lol
Cant wait for M5 and what the furture will hold but Im READY
    Sincerly

  8. Hey Ryan,

I'm 20 and have had more miscellaneous jobs than the average person of 60. I played upright bass in Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra - where I attended the seminar - I was a DJ for three years, moved to NYC and modeled, promoted nightlife and high profile restaurants, worked for designer Timo Weiland, did digitech work for photographers, and much more. my point is - although I enjoyed all this - I didn't know what I was going to do to actually become successful (in every aspect of the word). The three days I spent with you and your team has opened a new prospective, I now understand how profitable the real-estate business is and how I can employ my money to work for me.
I am currently living in Jacksonville fl, shooting a documentary for the FBI. July 11th I'll be in Holmes NY teaching fitness, nutrition, and acupressure at the Omega institute. Soon after i hope to be going on a mission trip with Charity Water. As soon as I am done with those ventures, the next event on my list will be the M5 class offered by financial success. I am terribly exited and would recommend anyone of any status attend your seminars.

    grace and peace,

    Corey Cleland
